In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is more Death

I sympathize with a husband and wife who cannot have children naturally, but IVF is not the answer.  I realize this is not what someone likes to hear, nor is it apparently now-days even considered as perhaps being the will of Providence, but obviously the God of Creation is wanting something else for you and yours.  

IVF is simply murder, and premeditative, selective murder at that.

Prayerfully think about Adoption as the direction the Holy Spirit may be leading you in your hope to raise up children for God's glory.  

The Odious Antisemitism Awareness Act

This bill is repugnant, unlawful and wicked, and building one more path to incrementally oppressing the Christian Congregation of Jesus.  It also shuts down the rights of free speech, and controls the journalism-press in these 50 States.  

And to throw more trash on this dumpster fire, there are conflicting absurdities within the bill because it makes no qualifications between the religion of A.D. Jews (post destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD) which is Talmudism, the nation state of Israel, nor of the neurotic, secular religion of Zionism.  These "things" are not "semite" but are being lumped into the elastic term "antisemitism" nonetheless.  And, by the way, nor are the vast majority of the people "semites" this bill is saying we cannot criticize!

It passed in the House under a fruitless, spurious Christian leader who is a schlemiel and a patsy for every big Statist dogma in DC.  He clearly is not a disciple of the King, but undoubtedly has become what he worships which is the secular, worldly State.  And this is a fundamental axiom of God's Word, which is: You become what you worship.  As Psalm 115:8 states, "Those who make them are like them, so is everyone who trusts in them."  

Pray to the Master that this is stopped, and let your senators know they should vote NO.

Now, all that said, and yes, it is pathetic, sad and lame, but I'm not surprise nor deeply angry because as I've said before, this is just one of the pieces flying off after the vehicle has gone over the cliff and hits the ground.  Our civil governments are too expansive, bloated and disconnected; they are not serving nor being held accountable for their mistakes nor their outright SINS.  We MUST reduce the size, scope and reach of our bureaucratic civil governments and bring back local, small, accountable structures because ours are completely and utterly unhinged, and alarmingly depraved.

Think Locally, and Act Locally, and read Psalm 110 to remind yourself again who's the Sovereign, and the King of all earthly kings (Rev. 1:5)!

Californication

This article below by Leonard Read is one of many gems sprinkled in a great book of free market writers entitled Cliches of Politics.  It addresses numerous misconceptions of civil government intervention (i.e. socialism), and is well worth your time to acquaint yourself with many of the concept-corrections found in this book.  It'll help to equip yourself for intellectual combat in the day-to-day work-place trenches as you encounter lazy, envy driven marxist-think.

And, let me say as an opening salvo to a few posts I have planned for the future, that this idea presented below needs to be heeded by those in the camp of political "conservatives", especially professing Christian ones.  

Here in Idaho specifically, and in culture generally, I'm seeing a influx of "conservatives" who are personally and sentimentally "moral" folks, meaning that they adhere -- strictly or loosely -- to individualistic "heart" or "spiritual" morals derived from Christianity such as:  Don't be vulgar, life is sacred, marriage is between a male and female humans, don't drink alcohol (an explicitly unbiblical belief, but some Protestants have been poorly taught to believe it is), you're accountable for your actions, don't be a gossip etc, etc. etc.   

BUT, when it comes to civil government, well, suddenly -- eureka! -- the Bible just doesn't appear to have anything to say according to these people, and hence they vote and advocate to increase The State, and plead for free! free! free! (i.e. "legal" plunder).  And, ya know, it is sooo strange but Leviathan and tyranny grow increasingly stronger and larger through humanistic laws, regulation and welfare.  Then those same folks turn around and complain about oppressive legislation and godlessness.  Yeah.  

The classic line is "I paid taxes into the State, so I am certainly justified to get whatever I can.", and when confronted on that unbiblical bat crap, some brothers or sisters in Christ will follow it up with this canned, sappy shibboleth about taking it and using...  well, no. No. Hold on. I'll save that one for another post; it's too savory and needs a full presentation and examination.

In a word, these folks are dedicated personal moralists, but full-on (or soft) Marxists in their cultural worldview.  This may come as a shock to some, but that worldview is NOT Biblical, it is therapeutic moralism, which at heart is gnosticism meddled with that ol' worldly standby, Expediency.

I refer to this as Californication, and as I wrote above, I hope to unfold this more hither and yon.

This is how many otherwise responsible citizens rationalize their own line-up at the Federal [or State or city or county] trough. Farmers see businessmen getting their tariffs. Businessmen observe subsidies to farmers. Labor leaders eye them both for copying. Angelenos see the Gothamites getting Federal aid, and Miamians read about Federal handouts to Seattleites. Such log-rolling of special interests grows, and "how to get ours" becomes the "economic" talk of the nation. That a naughty feeling often attends this weak excuse is understandable.

For obvious reasons, this bromide evokes no sense of guilt in socialists, those who would communize society, Federal handouts fit perfectly into their design of substituting government control for personal responsibility. The feelings of remorse are confined to individuals who think of themselves as conservative or libertarian. Unable clearly to diagnose their inconsistency, they at least suspect themselves of being Janus-faced.

To bring this political picture into focus, let's substitute one man for the majority, and a few for the millions, otherwise sticking to an accurate matching in structure. A man, call him Robin Hood, aspires to the role of God. He observes that the people in his shire come out unequally when freely exchanging the things they grow, the stock they raise, the items they make. Some fare a lot better than others. It never occurs to this Caesar of the countryside that dullness, laziness, indolence — as against ingenuity, initiative, industry — play a hand in these discrepancies. He sees only the inequalities and, in egotistical disdain, only his system for erasing them.

So, bow in hand, our self-appointed hero takes the produce from all unto himself. He'll dole it out as he sees the need. "Social justice" of his variety will be served!  The socialists in the shire — those who believe in the communalization of the product of all by coercion — may well be expected to hail this man and his tools of force. But, what are we to think of those who have a libertarian bent, of those who pay lip service to the free society, and then go on to assert, "We're paying for it, so we might as well get our share"? What sincerity or depth can be ascribed to their lip service? Do not actions speak louder than words? By their actions, are they not, most effectively, giving support to the socialistic design? Endorsing the welfare state? Upholding Caesarism?

Frederic Bastiat, more than a century ago, referred quite accurately to the above behavior as legal plunder, and explained in simple terms how to identify it: "See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime”

No individual with libertarian pretensions can, in good conscience, advocate legal plunder. What, then, should be his position? He has only one way to turn. Bastiat, the libertarian teacher, was again helpful: "Then abolish this law without delay, for it is not only an evil itself, but also it is a fertile source for further evils because it invites reprisals. If such a law — which may be an isolated case — is not abolished immediately, it will spread, multiply, and develop into a system."

Today, in the U.S.A., such law is not the isolated exception. It is already "a system." This system of plunder derives much of its support from individuals who do not subscribe to socialism but who say, "We're paying for it, so we might as well get our share."

          Sections 3, 5, 6-7  (1646 AD)
 
3. God was pleased to give to the people of Israel, as a church under age, ceremonial laws, containing several typical ordinances, partly of worship, prefiguring Christ, His graces, actions, sufferings, and benefits; and partly holding forth divers instructions of moral duties. All which ceremonial laws are now abrogated under the New Testament.

5. The moral law doth forever bind all, justified persons as well as others, to the obedience thereof; and that not only in regard of the matter contained in it, but also in respect of the authority of God the Creator who gave it. 7. Neither are the forementioned uses of the law contrary to the grace of the gospel, but do sweetly comply with it: the Spirit of Christ subduing and enabling the will of man to do that freely and cheerfully, which the will of God, revealed in the law, requireth to be done.  (Titus 2.14)

Christian Legalism vs. Yeshua's Law-word (Part 1)

"Great peace have those who love Your law."

         Psalm 119.165

Legalism is man's moralistic traditions or practices that are not commanded, nor logically deduced by model or principal in God's Word, but become darkly obligatory to obey through shame, and group pressure within the People of God.  It is faux godliness pulling its adherents down to death (Matthew 23.27-28).

But it is never legalism to lovingly obey the moral Law of God found in the Old and New Covenant Scripture.  It can be a form of works righteousness if an individual attempts to do so if one is unregenerate, or unconverted; but for those whose hearts has been circumcised (Col. 2.11) and transformed by God (Col 1.13-14), the commands of Christ are freedom.  (It should be noted that the ritual, ceremonial OT laws which were types and shadows to be fulfilled by and in Jesus, are abrogated, and no longer active nor applicable to the New Covenant; see coming Part 2 for more clarification on that.)

As A.W. Pink states, "True liberty is not the power to live as we please but to live as we ought." (James 1:25).  And that "ought" is found in the Scripture under the ethical commands of Yahweh our triune Creator.  This again, of course, presupposes a person can joyfully obey God's precepts from his heart because he has been regenerated, or born anew, by the Spirit (see Romans 7.4, 8.2 / Eph 2.1-10)

Upon faith being gifted to us and bringing us from death to life (Col.2.13) we are no longer "under the law" by way of condemnation and death, but now are under the unmerited, and undeserved, favor of Christ (i.e. grace), and live under and through Jesus' righteousness as our covenant head.  And because we have a new Master, home, and life, and the Holy Spirit's leading, we now see and comprehend the loveliness of the Creator's ways and want to follow and learn from Him; and so we do, through His majestic Law-word (Psalm 119.160).  

Here then is where true freedom is found:

"The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever."  (Psalm 119.160)

"Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind."

     (Ecclesiastes  12.13)

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and Earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men to do so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”  (Matthew 5.17-19)

“…since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.  Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law”. (Romans 3.30-3)

“All Scripture [in this passage Paul would mean the Old Testament] is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  (2nd Timothy 5.15-17)

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on Earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”     (Matthew 28.18-20)

RePost: Ease & Mammon #14 -- Primeval Fellowship

Judgement starts with the Temple of Christ.

Christ's Bride -- that's us Christians -- are responsible for this dumpster fire of a culture incinerating around us.  Plain and simple.  The students have taken over the classroom that Christ gave and assigned, to us, and we -- again, the Church, the Teacher -- have decided as-of-late to take-up cigarette smoking in order to have a few "well deserved" breaks in a veiled attempt to avoid the difficult work of discipling the students.  We figured the class had been cruising along and doing so well for the last several centuries we could "let up" a bit and relax.  Negatory.  Culture is always the external manifestation of its dominant religion, and ladies and gentleman, what you're seeing ain't Christian. 

So, we're needing to roll-up the shirt sleeves and get back to our job that the King kindly gave us to do.  

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations....teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."    (Matthew 28.19-20)

The fundamental, wholistic re-formation of our culture begins (again) with us -- the People of Jesus -- and that launches in the forge and flame of worshipping the triune Creator -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- on the Lordsday, and doing it not as babes of the Old Covenant (Gal. 3:24-25), but rather we undertake it maturely in imitation of our perfect King (Eph. 4.11-15; 1st Cor. 2.13-16) as New Covenant "grown ups" wisely finding His prescribed, sacred "institution" through command, narrative, and example.  That means we must....

#14 --  Leave the mainline, man-fabricated church and locate a Primeval house fellowship

You're going to have to leave it in order to truly stay, dear Christian. 

Leave, in order to stay.  Our ”mainline” McChurches are fragmented, impersonal and disconnected which essentially is a thriving, robust model of isolation; there's just crumbs and wee droplets of spoiled, spilt grape juice there now dear Christian.  It has had, here and there -- by the grace of Christ -- something to bless the world, but it's hollow, fabricated, and idolatrous. 

We are in dire need of smaller congregations that are living out candid, interwoven lives and families, filled with close, dependent, one-anothering for God's glory and the love of our unbelieving neighbors. So, come to Christ's Institution He lays out in His Word, and not man's.  

You might as well do it now, because soon enough in The United State all true followers of The Way will be meeting in homes and celebrating real Communion meals together due to our despotic, anti-Christ civil government (this'll be a "good" thing, painful at first, but it'll get us where we need to be and go!).  

Sell the buildings now, and encourage your elder/pastor to get an everyday job that brings in most of his money (not all though, if possible, we need to be financially supporting those men who do the arduous, tiring work of sheparding and teaching among us (1st Timothy 5.17-18; Matt.10.10; 1st Corinthians 9.14); and, yes, even in smaller, house congregations), and then don't look back!

#13 --  Have a distinction between how you and your wife dress (and your girls and boys)  

If you and your spouse look almost identical except one of you has earrings, well...you may want to meditate on some of the Bible's clear teachings on men and women's apparel.  And if you don't have any idea what those are, or where to find them, my guess is this topic is making you hopping mad right now (cause this topic makes most folks lose their minds!).

#11 --  Put a stop to supporting, funding or shopping at a business that is anti-Christ

If a business or company is openly and publicly against the Savior we must stop financing it / them.  JUST STOP.  No matter how convenient or how "nice" they are, or how low their prices are, JUST STOP.

Now, many stores and businesses we buy from we have no idea what or who they support, but many we know for certain what they are, or have been, up to, and that they are not with the King (i.e. Costco, Target, Starbucks).  If you continue to patronize that business with the knowledge of the truth you are guilty of aiding the Enemy.  You just are, period.  Should I go on?  Too straight forward?  Not "nice"?

#10 -- Stop depending on organized sports to somehow raise our sons into masculine men

Our ancestors didn't. Let me state that again: Our ancestors did not. The men of the Civil War era make 95% of the men today look like pussys, and yet they weren't raised to be men in organized sports.  

Huh. Weird.

We who are fathers need to meditate and strive strenuously to learn what it means to be like Jesus, and then spend time teaching that in word and deed to our sons, and not wasting your time scurrying around shuttling them from practice, to game, to practice, to game most of their frickin' childhood.

#9 --  Don't join the military:   With women "warriors", transgender everything, and none of the folks know what or why they're training and fighting, ah, well that's the ol' recipe for disaster. 

The military is policing the world and 99% of us don't know why or where.  A standing army is just plain tyrannical. T-Y-R-A-N-N-I-C-A-L.  Why should our young men dedicate precious time to such a wicked establishment?  Why?!?!... What, for free college on the backs of taxpayers?  For early retirement?  

Obviously, there's more for a young, baptized man than that worldly nonsense.

 #8 --  Rethink sending your Children to a State College  

They may be cheaper, but they're a bastion of demons.  Let's all wake up and smell the wickedness, seriously.  

Let me ask you: Is that secondary Hall of Humanism you're wanting to send your child to, is it openly acknowledging Yeshua the KING to be The Way, and in whom all The Truth derives from, and by whom the Life on this planet exists for?  Hmm? Is it?

       As the Word declares, it is He -- the Messiah -- who must be held up constantly and thoroughly as the One for and by "all things were created that are in Heaven and that are on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." (Colosians 1:16-17)  

        And if the institution in question isn't -- and, it isn't -- than you need to take another course of action. And you may be thinking, "Gee willikers, that can go for any government schooling, can't it?"  Yes. It. Can. And. Yes. It. Does.  

        Now, if this seems to you to be straining gnats, and nothing more than some pietistic exercise on my part, and you're not quite sure why complete surrender to Jesus is required, and compromising syncretism is wicked and disobedient....   

       Well, than let me be the first in your life to inform you that the tax payers undoubtedly "got their moneys worth" with you, and the time you spent being catechized in humanist doctrine all those years was a thoroughly complete success and really "worked".

And, please, for the love of God Almighty, please do not rationalize the whole undertaking by covering it with grey haze of "but there are Christian professors" at the Philistinian government university.  Really?  There are?  Let's say it slow:  C-h-r-i-s-t-i-a-n professors being paid to work at a Cannanite college.

        Ah, yes, yes, isn't that exactly what we need more of?  Yes, more people who profess to be a Christ follower but have voluntarily complied to be paid not to speak as one.  And what, pray-tell, is precisely "christian" about that?

And, by-the-way, make damn sure the "christian" college you're considering actually is what is says it is (i.e. christian), because 7 outta 10 aren't.   And, seriously, the debt alone is flat out nuts.  Our generation of fathers and mothers may have to make the difficult choice of just not having our children go on to college at all. We may have to start apprenticeships and teaching rigorous ways of self-learning (cue the screams...).  

Our times are dark and bizarre, but this doesn't mean hand-wringing and whining though; rather it calls for wise, bold, radical steps as we follow our Savior.

 #5 -- Opt out of Social Security and Medicare:  Send back the checks after you've received what they took from you, er...oops, you "saved" with the fascist government. Don't factor in inflation, don't justify receiving a cent over what you "contributed" during your slave-wage years.  If you do you're merely stealing from your children and grandchildren, and devaluing you and your neighbor's current wealth  in order that you can be comfortable.

And Medicare, just opt out of A, B, D, all of it (and yes, you CAN, they endeavor to make it sound as if you cannot but you definitely can.), but be warned if you do, they'll cease SS payments. This, of course, proves right there that the SS money isn't actually yours, but rather a marxist subsidy (there's the cheese! don't take it! step away from the trap!), but good riddance.  In other words, don't plan on either.  This goes back to your kids (see #3 on life insurance).

#4 -- Heath insurance:  We need to start "owning" our health care by getting back to a personal, first-relationship contact in care and billing.  The multiple, disconnected bureaucratic billing procedure is what is corrupting, and has corrupted, the practice of healthcare for everyone.  

Perhaps get to know your local natural supplement provider-counselor.  Take charge of your health.  Fix what's simple and certain.  And, by-the-way, if ya got a life ending disease, that's what ya got; don't cause untold thousands of dollars to come from "somewhere" (i.e. other people's pockets, otherwise known as Medicaid and/or Medicare), or go into massive debt just to stay alive for a year or two more!  

Rather, take your direction from our Master when on the cross He refused to be drugged in His last moments, and don't take your cues from our worldly medicated society telling you that old age and death can be avoided.  Believe in the sovereignty of your all-wise, loving King.  Don't you believe you'll be resurrected?  If you really do then what's the problem???
