Humanism is a specific religion in western societies among creatures with the imago dei that have not called upon King Jesus to pardon them, and received the life-giving Spirit of the triune Creator.
Humanism predictably has splintered into specific "traditions" over time, and then those traditions have broke off into splinter groups of emphasis according to desires and "tastes".
A few of the dominant traditions would be Darwinianism, Scientism, and Statism.
Here is New York governor Kathy Hochul serving as a perfect example.
