Now that Resurrection Day is in the rearview mirror I thought I'd pull this excerpt below out and let ya read it. Give some of you something to chew on for next year.
The "easter" egg and bunny thing is completely foreign and distracting to our celebration of Messiah's Resurrection.
This excerpt below is from over 130 years ago concerning the egg crap on Resurrection. This should have been "reformed" two generations ago! Sweet Joseph and Mary we Christians are a sorry lot.
At some point men we have to gird-up and stop compromising. All this is just plain, simple, bumpkin Worldliness, and it was let in the door because "of the children". It's high time we File 13 this worldly tradition and let it rot back to where it came from.
