As all sane folks in these 50 States of federation have known for eight months now, the mindless riot at the Union's national capital building in Washington DC January 6th, 2021 was just that: a haphazard, imbecilic protest carried out primarily by some supporters of President Trump who let their emotions get the better of them. Nothing more, and not much less. It was not a "deadly" attempt at a "insurrection" by "seditious" conservatives whatsoever. Pathetically, this is all we incessantly heard about it by any-and-all Main Propaganda News.
We all knew, just by a cursory viewing of the videos from that day, that the majority had no ulterior plans -- hatched, of course, in the dirty basements of white supremist "preppers" -- for a take-over of the Union's capital building, nor to stop the Congressional vote to certify the election of Resident Biden. And we all know President Trump's speech prior to the ruckus did not whip 'em up to do what they did.
But our US national leaders and the Propaganda News said it was all that and more, but it was all sordid, deliberate lies to transform the narrative. Here's some of the "more" from Biden's 100 Day speech to Congress where he says January 6th was "the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”
Thankfully the FBI came clean on the debacle and issued a report this week showing that there is no indication that the riots were coordinated. It's good to see some truth finally emerge from that department unlike the recent revelation that they led the plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer of Michigan
