On March 8th, 2020 the soon-to-be rock star, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said on the CBS program "60 Minutes" concerning the wearing of face masks:
"There is no reason people should be walking around with a mask. When you're in the middle of an outbreak wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet, but it is not providing the protection that people think that it is."
