Well, our State religion has stooped to a new low. Got this postcard in the US mail a few weeks ago. Taking our money to advertise as though "they/we" are some kind of quasi-private business. Ugh. This apple has rolled far away from the original tree.
Also, they/we -- Nampa School District -- has taken out advertising space on billboards throughout Canyon County. This is a disgrace. They aren't in competition with other options. They are merely there for the public to access and use if we desire. If we don't...they go away. Unless you live in a creeping communistic society, which, we do.
So, just shrug your shoulders and let's not do anything about it. Right? Hopefully not.
