God's Grace in 3-D

Nimble Eutychus, the men's book group I'm involved in, is meeting tomorrow evening to discuss Total Church by Steve Timmis and Tim Chester.  Tonight I was preparing for it and found myself camped out in the chapter entitled "Success". In that chapter they are writing about leadership not being about performance but about modeling the grace of God in weakness and not one's supposed goodness.  The passage though that really caught my attention was this:

"Church without programs, structures, or buildings can make you very vulnerable.  Leadership in which your life is open can feel scary. But we should embrace this fragility because it forces us to trust God's sovereign grace."
